Production Controller - Children's Books

LOCATION: WOODBRIDGE - SUFFOLK  

Would you like to start your book publishing career with a leading producer of high-quality, exciting and innovative children’s books? Our client has been inspiring children to read, play and create for over 20 years.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage your own projects ensuring processes and deadlines are met
• Expedite the print production to schedule and cost
• Communicate special requirements to the printer
• Work with our suppliers to ensure quality standards are met
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, printers, and customers

You will have demonstrable experience of working within an office environment and strong administration skills. Good MS Office skills will be required, especially important will be your Excel experience.  Solid experience of dealing with people at all levels will be important as will your attention to detail. Most important will be your willingness to learn about all things print.

Book Production/Publishing experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

This position will be based in the company’s Suffolk office and the company offers an excellent salary and benefits package.
