Would you like the opportunity to work in an emerging and growing business and play a key part in initiating and developing standards and guidance content? A global professional membership organisation based in Hertfordshire (20 minutes by train from London) has a new role for a Portfolio Development Manager to work across a range of their flagship products to commission and contract standards and associated guidelines from concept through to product launch, including project managing, building an industry network group and assessing commercial opportunities for new products and services within their existing portfolios.

This is a role where you will need to be collaborative and keep abreast of new developments, conduct market research and translate market opportunities into commercially viable business cases.

This position would ideally suit an individual who has set up successful multi-author publications and who can negotiate successfully with high profile stakeholders internally and externally.  You will have experience of commissioning scientific, technical or business information products and a sound knowledge of technical trends in these areas. Solid project management experience and a proven ability of translating business strategies into product development specifications and product roadmaps is essential.
