Inside sales Representative – Higher Education

LOCATION: ANDOVER, HAMPSHIRE - HYBRID WORKING  

We have an exciting position for an enthusiastic, consultative sales person with a demonstrable track record of success. Our client is a leading global educational publishing and technology company who would like to appoint an Inside Sales Representative to sell their products to clients in Western and Southern Europe. The role will be based in the UK from their Andover offices and will be hybrid working with ideally 2 days in the office each week.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will promote key products and solutions to Higher Education institutions in the territory through all channels but primarily through direct sales of new print and digital adoptions to institutions and academics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build strong working relationships with key HEIs within the territory to promote all relevant course solutions in digital and print format
  • Retain and roll all existing business across the territory
  • Use market data to plan calling itinerary to optimise efficient use of time and resources
  • Liaise with campus bookshops highlighting relevant key new titles and new editions
  • Identify significant new business and adoption opportunities and plan strategies and tactics to win the business
  • Arrange and prepare presentations to key faculty decision makers across all levels and departments of Higher Education Institutions

You will have strong negotiation and communication skills and will be highly motivated and well organised. Your time management and planning skills will be first class and you must have a clean driving license as occasional travel abroad may be required.
