Email Marketing Specialist - Maternity Cover - 9-12 Months

A market-leading publisher based in the Oxford area is looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Specialist to cover maternity leave for at least 9 - 12 Months. This role will provide support and streamline processes to promote best practice in email marketing automation through the use of Salesforce Marketing Technologies. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Systems this role will ensure best practices are being followed in email campaign creation, data usage and automation settings. You will coordinate campaigns, provide analysis and testing in relation to email and automated marketing programs, aiming to make marketing more effective across their B2B channels.
The role will work directly with the journals and books marketing teams to align strategy and targets of campaigns and will oversee the system administration tasks for Pardot and marketing Cloud, e.g. setting up new users, deactivating users and troubleshooting user issues. You will also lead Pardot training for new marketers and super users.
This is a key role for the team and the successful person will have experience of working with Salesforce and Pardot, ideally in a B2B marketing environment. Previous experience of using Marketing Cloud is desirable. You will have sound HTML skills and the ability to prepare and optimise images for use online. Experience of marketing automation, customising, segmenting and launching campaigns would be a strong plus point.
