Are you looking for a brilliant opportunity to bring your sales and customer engagement skills to a new level? Our client is a leading media trade brand, who publish multiple subscription-based publications, and they are looking to appoint an ambitious and successful Account Executive to join their sales team. You will hit the ground running with existing managed accounts as well as targeting new accounts. Your role will involve offering advice on how to engage with the company’s audiences via the marketing solutions offer, across print and digital advertising, bespoke solutions and events sponsorship. Working with an experienced Sales Director and Editor, this is a great opportunity to work with a highly successful brand, build a great portfolio of accounts and expand your experience through consultative sales. This will be a hybrid working position requiring 2 days in the company’s central London office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieve personal sales target and create new business, as well as manage existing accounts
- Being accountable against targets, best practice of pipeline management and act on all KPI’s.
- Work with the Sales Director and Editor on new product opportunities and business plans.
- Regularly feeding back insight gained from the marketplace back to Sales Director
- Input into budget forecasts and presentations
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable media consultative sales experience; excellent time management skills and proven B2B media sales experience. You will need to be a strong team player with excellent influencing skills and will have an entrepreneurial focus on high achievement.
An interest in sustainability is desirable but not essential.
